Here are the prayer requests reminders from this week:
Spencer's great aunt is in her 90s and is in hospice. Be praying for her and her family as her time draws near.
Laura could use prayers in general for grad school and all the effects of that.
The Loukas could use a lot of prayers with lots of sickness and moving! Pray for healing and supernatural strength to do what they need to do.
Andrea has her first tooth coming in. She's also having some stomach trouble, so they went to the doctor this week to see what the cause is - she may be lactose intolerant. Be praying for her comfort, and patience for Josh and Betty.
Betty's friend Oscar got AIDS several years ago from a blood transfusion while he was battling leukemia. He's been sick off and on, but right now is doing badly, and family and friends are thinking he might not make it this time. Please pray for his physical and spiritual healing.
Betty's friend Isa had her baby and they are doing great. Pray for continued health!
I found out yesterday my Aunt Mary has breast cancer that has also spread to her lymph nodes. She's 50 and happily married with two boys - a 5th and 7th grader. We can't imagine my uncle and cousins getting along without her, and so I hope they're all spared a tragedy. They are believers, so I pray that this will not push them away from God, but closer to him. Be praying that they will be filled with all the faith, hope, comfort, and peace they need to get through this, and that God will provide a miracle.
Be praying for our book study - that the Holy Spirit will grab a hold of us and change us, and that we will allow him to by not being fearful and disobedient. I think Tuesday was pretty powerful, and I'm sure it will continue to be, so I pray that there will not be obstacles that will keep people from coming!
