Hello!
This week we are in Chapter 2 of Forgotten God. Kris and Erin are leading the discussion this week. Read Chapter 2 if you have the book. We will watch the video at homegroup and discuss.

Su Nica Bracket Charity!!! March 17 is the date to set up your bracket. A sign up/invitation will be sent out on March 10. Please forward this to everyone you know when you get it so that this will be a successful fundraiser! Donation/Fee is $20. We will be giving away IPADs for the grand prize and other prizes, such as one for the person who recruits the most sign ups.
MDA walk- Saturday, March 22nd on Fayetteville street downtown. Josh's sister, Jessie Pease, has muscular dystrophy and this is something we have done to support her for years. If anyone wants to donate, or just come out and walk in support of those who have this disease, let us know! Josh can get us more info or get us connected with Jessie.
Homegroup Servant Team Meeting- March 17 after the 11am service. Lunch is provided.

Hey yall,
This week is Chapter 3 of Forgotten God. I will be leading the discussion this week. We will be talking about the theology of the Holy Spirit and how good theology is important because it would lead you to right action, genuine love, and true worship. The goal of this chapter is to get you better acquainted with the Holy Spirit.

Also, we are going to start on time this week since the lessons have been a bit more lengthy. We can hang out afterwards!
Other Announcements
Next week we have a social night on the calendar. We will discuss on Tuesday if we will do this on a tuesday night or a weekend night.
MDA walk is next weekend, Saturday the 23rd at 10:30.
-Jessie asked that we get there between 10:15-10:25 to get signed in and geared up (she usually brings lots of flare for us to wear to match her team colors).
-Her team colors are GREEN, WHITE, ad BLACK so wear something that matches the group.
-We will meet in front of the Raleigh Memorial Auditorium (Lichtin Plaza), 2 E. South Street Raleigh, NC 27601.
Hope yall can make it!

And prayer requests from last week:
Peases are leaving behind their dog when they move to Nicaragua so are needing to find a good home for it. (So if you're interested, let them know.)
Betty's employer lost her baby at 15 weeks (pregnant), and her boys have been sick with a stomach bug, so keep them in your prayers for quick healing, as well as comfort and peace.
Josh and Betty's friends, Mario and Javiera, are trying to decide whether to move to Nicaragua as well - and it just happens to be the same city that they will be moving to - so be praying that God will guide their decision, give them peace about what is His will, and that things will go well with that.
Continue to remember my Aunt Mary (mentioned in previous prayer requests). I did get an update that she has a slower growing cancer, so that's a positive. The treatment is going to be radiation, chemo, and a double mastectomy, so continue to remember them and that God will provide all the faith, hope, comfort, peace, and provision they need.
I'm coming down with something and would appreciate it going away quickly cause I don't have time for it (not that anyone ever does).
Continue to pray for our book study, our homegroup, and Su Nica!

Hey yall,
I think the Stomach Virus has finally left our house (as long as Alan's amazing immune system stays strong) so we shouldn't have a reason to cancel HG this week!
This week is Chapter 3 of Forgotten God. I will be leading the discussion this week. We will be talking about the theology of the Holy Spirit and how good theology is important because it would lead you to right action, genuine love, and true worship. The goal of this chapter is to get you better acquainted with the Holy Spirit.
Loukas, do you mind bringing snack this week?
Also, we are going to start on time this week since the lessons have been a bit more lengthy. We can hang out afterwards!
