[Emily Clarke Studio] Copying the masters

Some artists copy the master painters in order to figure out how they worked. I copy vintage B movie posters. I have been trying to figure out what gives these posters their "look". So, I thought the best way to do that was to copy a portion of one to get the technique down, and they replicate it in my other pieces. We will see if it works. I like the result of this one, though. Quite melodramatic.
