Dear Sailing Club Members and Friends

I would like to take this opportunity to thank you all for you support during 2008 and to wish you a very prosperous 2009. We have seen a number of changes in the club during the
year including a new Club Manager in the form of Hardson. We have also made efforts to complete the installation of Electricity to club which I hope will be complete in early 2009.
I also wish to thank other members who have assisted with the club over the past year, particulalry Damien De La PLace for doing the finances, Cassandra Jesse for publicity and
Peter Killick for organising sailing courses and general club oversight. Unfortunately we will be saying goodbye to Cassandra shortly and we wish her the very best in her future
and "happy Sailing".

If there are any members who would like to assist the committee during 2009 please could you contact me either by phone or email. We could always do with the extra help
and it would not require a great deal of time on your part. We are looking for someone to do publicity for this year and additional people to assist with sailing courses etc.
We also require someone to take charge of the boats and do basic repairs so if there are any handy people out there that need something to do,  give us a shout (ideally this would suit
a "tag along spouse" with a desire for the outdoor life but all candidates welcome.

After discussion with the rest of the committee we have agreed on the following Rates for 2009. PLease could drop your payments off at Burco / Broadband Digital in City Center
before the 25th January to my attention or you can pay at the club to Hardson. We would like to finalize the membership as soon as possible so we can do a budget for this year
so would appreciate if you could make this a priority. Please note that if your membership has not been paid for 2009 and you visit the club, you will be required to pay daily entrance fee,

Fees for this year will be as follows:
Family Membership  MK10000
Single Membership  MK8000

Non Member Daily Rates
Adult MK500
Children MK300

We encourage all of you to make use of the sailing club facilities as it is a VERY convenient place to get away from it all and only 1/2 an hours drive. If you have never been to Kamuzu
dam, please come and visit and we guarantee you wont be disappointed. If you need further info please follow the Link to our website.

We will be holding the next sailing course sometime in Jaunuary so if you would be interested in learning to sail please let us know.

Best Regards

Sorry - Just to clarify : Club sailing days are the third Saturday of every month. The club is open every day but this is the day that the members
try and get out at least once a month to sail.
SEE YOU ALL TOMORROW.
