It is regatta time again, THE STANSFIELD REGATTA is held
in memory of MR. WALTER HYDE STANSFIELD. The 2008 STANSFIELD REGATTA will be
held at MURANDY COTTAGES, SENGA BAY on the 23rd and 24th August 2007. It is a
weakend of fun and sailing open to all who would like to sail. You do
not have to be an experienced sailer. NOT TO BE MISSED.
Saturday the 23rd August 2008 the first race will comence
at 10.00am and we propose to fit in as many races as the weather
permits.
SATURDAY EVENING THE STANSFIELD FAMILIES INVITE YOU ALL TO
A COMPLIMENTARY SUPPER with FREE wine starting at 7.30pm. WE WILL ARRANGE
AN EARLIER SUPPER FOR THE KIDS.
Sunday the 24th August 2008 racing comences at 7.00am
until noon weather permiting, followed by PRIZE GIVING.
Proposed Format : 7 races with 2 discards - weather
permiting.
ENTRY FEE of MK1000.00 per boat. THIS MONEY WILL BE SPLIT
BETWEEN THE STAFF AS GRATUITIES.
HOT DOGS, HAMBURGERS, HAM, CHICKEN, EGG & BACON ROLLS
WILL BE AVAILABLE THROUGHOUT THE WEEKEND AT A NOMINAL CHARGE.
ALL COTTAGES WILL BE STOCKED WITH BEERS, MINERALS AND BOTTLED WATER, WHICH
CAN BE SIGNED FOR AND PAID AT THE END OF THE WEEKEND TO WENDY.
SPIRITS CAN BE PURCHASED FROM WENDY.
COMPLIMENTARY TEA & COFFEE WILL BE AVAILABLE THROUGHOUT
THE WEEKEND.
Accomodation is also available for those that require it,
at a cost of MK2000.00 per person per night, children under 2 free. Please

with the preperations and for the supper on the Saturday night.
