hurricane captured in diary kept when she was eight years old. She
has been writing since the age of five, when she was a little girl
surrounded by extreme poverty, superstition and brutality. Crying

will to persevere against overwhelming odds.

This is the first book I read of Lili's. I couldn't put it down.

The story was very interesting and seemed like it was from the
authentic perspective of a child experiencing a natural disaster.
