Nvidia GPU Power and Energy Measurement

Hello,

I am using Likwid Marker API to measure power and energy spent in code regions in different hardwares. I tried to use GPU Marker API for Nvidia GPU's but I found out that there was no ENERGY.txt under perfgroups/nvidia_gpu_cc_ge_7.

I tried to write my own config file by looking at CPU examples after searching for performance counters related to power and energy in Nvidia GPU's but I was unsuccessful.

Are there any metrics in CUPTI or NVML that I could use with Likwid and do you have any plans to add power and energy measurement to GPU Marker API?

Hello,

The NVML is currently not supported. We are working on it. The NVML is the only way to get power/energy data for GPUs.
