Hi,

Perhaps this is a known issue. I am running a slightly old version of likwid 5.2.2.

This happens with likwid-mpirun. Additionally, it only seems to happen when I am using the Marker API.

I do:
likwid-mpirun -m -np 8 -g MEM1 $bin $args > memory_transfer.out

And I get:
WARN: Cannot extract OpenMP vendor from executable or commandline, assuming no OpenMP

This is happening on my Zen3 system

Thanks,

Hi,

this can happen if the application with the MarkerAPI instrumentation is linked to an older library or an older library is in LD_LIBRARY_PATH at runtime. I cannot find any version where line ./src/perfmon.c:1282 contains an error print. Please check your installation.

Another reason could be that this is Zen3 model is not supported yet, e.g. the AMD Zen3 Trento. But when I read the code correctly, you should get the error "Unsupported AMD Zen3 Processor".

Best,
Thomas

That was my problem.  Thank Thomas!
