Ottanta l'arrivo dei cartoni animati giapponesi e degli home-videogames
rivoluziona il mondo dell'entertainment costringendo molte aziende di
giocattoli tradizionali a chiudere i battenti; tra queste c'è anche
l'Atlantic. Oggi l'azienda non esiste più, ma il suo marchio muove
ancora il mercato collezionistico e numerose sono le comunità virtuali
sorte attorno al ricordo. Questo perché "l'epoca d'oro" dei soldatini
Atlantic è coincisa con l'intero arco dell'infanzia di almeno una
generazione di persone, tempo sufficiente per lasciare un segno
indelebile nella loro mente e nel loro cuore.
