Trying to download some files to an external drive and the process begins but does not complete. I'm receiving the following error messages:
"File wasn't available on site"
"Site wasn't available"

Voordat je aan de slag kunt gaan, heb je eerst een licentie nodig voor het installeren van Windows 10. Vervolgens download je het hulpprogramma voor het maken van media. Zie de onderstaande instructies voor meer informatie over het gebruik van het hulpprogramma.
Windows 10 installeert op een pc met Windows XP of Windows Vista, of als je installatiemedia moet maken om Windows 10 op een andere pc te installeren; zie onderstaande sectie Het hulpprogramma voor het maken van installatiemedia (USB-flashstation, dvd of ISO-bestand) gebruiken om Windows 10 op een andere pc te installeren.
Nadat je het besturingssysteem hebt gedownload en genstalleerd, volg je de instructies om Windows 10 in te stellen op je pc. Alle edities van Windows 10 zijn beschikbaar als je Windows 10 selecteert, behalve de Enterprise Edition. Ga naar het Volume Licensing Service Center voor meer informatie over de Enterprise Edition.
Volg deze stappen voor het maken van installatiemedia (USB-flashstation, of dvd) waarmee je een nieuwe versie van Windows 10 kunt installeren, een schone installatie kunt uitvoeren of Windows 10 opnieuw kunt installeren.

Nadat je de stappen voor de installatie van Windows 10 hebt voltooid, controleer je of alle benodigde apparaatstuurprogramma's zijn genstalleerd. Als je nu wilt controleren op updates, klik je op de Startknop en ga je naar Instellingen > Bijwerken en beveiliging > Windows Update. Selecteer Naar updates zoeken. Je kunt ook naar de ondersteuningssite van de fabrikant van je apparaat gaan voor eventuele extra stuurprogramma's die je nodig hebt.
Voordat je Windows 10 installeert is het raadzaam je werk op te slaan en een back-up van je pc te maken. Als je het hulpprogramma voor het maken van media hebt gebruikt om een ISO-bestand voor Windows 10 te downloaden, dien je het bestand op een dvd te branden voordat je verder kunt gaan.
Als de pc niet automatisch opnieuw wordt opgestart vanaf het USB- of dvd-medium, moet je mogelijk een opstartmenu openen of de opstartvolgorde wijzigen via de BIOS- of UEFI-instellingen van de pc. Meestal moet je onmiddellijk na het inschakelen van de pc op een toets drukken (zoals F2, F12, Delete of Esc) om het opstartmenu te openen of de opstartvolgorde te wijzigen. Instructies over het openen van het opstartmenu of het wijzigen van de opstartvolgorde vind je in de documentatie bij de pc of op de website van de fabrikant. Als het USB- of dvd-apparaat niet wordt vermeld bij de opstartopties, moet je mogelijk contact opnemen met de pc-fabrikant voor instructies over het tijdelijk uitschakelen van Beveiligd opstarten via de BIOS-instellingen.
Als het wijzigen van het opstartmenu of de opstartvolgorde niet werkt en de pc onmiddellijk wordt opgestart naar het besturingssysteem dat je wilt vervangen, is de pc mogelijk niet volledig afgesloten toen deze de vorige keer werd uitgeschakeld. Klik op de aan/uit-knop op het aanmeldingsscherm of in het Startmenu en kies Afsluiten om de pc volledig af te sluiten.
Als je een ISO-bestand voor Windows 10 downloadt, wordt het bestand op je pc opgeslagen op de locatie die je aangeeft. Als je een programma voor het branden van dvd's van derden op je pc hebt en je gebruikt dat voor het maken van de installatie-dvd, kun je dat program openen door naar de locatie van het ISO-bestand te gaan en dubbel te klikken op het bestand. Je kunt ook met de rechtermuisknop op het bestand klikken en Openen met kiezen en je favoriete dvd-brander kiezen.
