I need a fix to the below error which happens on a workstation whenever a marco from a certain file is enabled and the file is enabled for editing. The logs from event viewer display the error message below-
"The description for Event ID 25 from source MSOLAP$LocalCube cannot be found. Either the component that raises this event is not installed on your local computer or the installation is corrupted. You can install or repair the component on the local computer.
I have customized once GP Window and wrote some VBA code. Now i have installed Window 8.1 on my machine. after that i am not able to run my customization properly. getting below error. Thanks in advance.
Export all modified resource from Customization Maintenance window. Delete all the files (with have VBA extension) *.VBA inside your GP folder and backup FORMS.dic, REPORTS.dic from data folder and delete the same. Then re-register the VBA7.dll and go to GP, import package file and compile your VBA project to check whether the issue persist or not.
Just to ensure we are talking about the same thing here. The workstation where the GP client is installed is the same computer you are using with the VBA editor? The assembly references need to be available on the workstation where GP is installed.
If the VBE7.DLL missing error appears on your PC, you can use the methods below. Some are automatic, which means you can start a process to let the system automatically restore the file. Others are manual, meaning you will have to manually download VBE7.DLL and move it to the correct program installation folder. If you are not very experienced with digging through system files and would prefer not to, you can simply go straight to an automatic method.
Outbyte PC Repair allows you to automatically repair DLL errors, without you having to worry about choosing the right file or registering it. The utility will not only download the correct version of VBE7.DLL for free and suggest the right directory to install it to but will also resolve other issues related to the VBE7.DLL file.

To initiate a manual scan please follow the steps below:
Many users are familiar with the sfc/scannow system file integrity check command, which automatically checks and fixes protected Windows system files. It is often one of the first things experienced Windows users do when they encounter errors.
Keep in mind that System File Checker (SFC) cannot fix integrity errors for those system files that are currently being used by the operating system. To fix these files you have to run SFC command through the command prompt in the Windows recovery environment. You can get into Windows Recovery Environment from the login screen by clicking Shutdown, then holding down the Shift key while selecting Restart.
This operation will take a while and it is important to wait until it is complete. When finished, close the command prompt and restart the computer as usual. You should find that the VBE7.DLL missing error is gone.
System Restore is very useful if you want to fix VBE7.DLL error, or almost any other error. Using the "System Restore" function, you can choose to restore Windows to a date when the VBE7.DLL file was not damaged. Restoring Windows to an earlier date cancels changes that were made to system files since that date. Please follow the steps below to roll back Windows using System Restore and get rid of the VBE7.DLL error.

SentinelOne's SentinelAgent security tool is installed on my computer. At some point after working with the internal datasheet of think-cell, I receive a COMBASE.DLL STATUS_ACCESS_VIOLATION error message.
Note: In a previous version of this article, we communicated the third week of October 2022 as the expected release date for the initial wave of Windows updates, based on the information we had received from Microsoft. However, Microsoft eventually postponed this wave to November. The currently available information as of December 1, 2022, follows.
For the following Windows versions, updates were originally expected for November, and we have not yet received updated information. However, January 2023 is most likely, as December updates are reserved for security issues.
This issue only occured in affected Windows versions when think-cell and SentinelOne's SentinelAgent were enabled together. Our developers analyzed the issue in detail: The crash occured in COMBASE.DLL within the CCtxChnl::OnCall function. We investigated the problem in 64-bit COMBASE.DLL 10.0.19041.1202 and the following address offsets and symbol names are from this version. Most of the code in CCtxChnl::OnCall appeared to be robust against the this->_pIFaceEntry->_pID member being null (e.g., CStdWrapper::IsNAWrapper was called from CCtxChnl::OnCall and had code to handle this). If, however, the IsCallTracingEnabled call in CCtxChnl::OnCall returned true, the code attempted to access this->_pIFaceEntry->_pID->_oid.Data1 without checking whether this->_pIFaceEntry->_pID was null, and this resulted in an access violation (COMBASE.DLL!Imagebase+0x00000000001A77B0).
If you cannot update Windows to one of the fixed versions yet, your IT may try this workaround: A think-cell customer received this workaround from SentinelOne before the fixed Windows versions were available. For further information concerning this workaround, contact your SentinelOne support and refer to ticket #652625.
This error is usually caused by insufficient memory or low disk space. It also occurs when the default Word template (normal.dotm) is corrupt, when the VBE7.DLL file is the wrong version, or when permissions to the TEMP folder on a server share do not allow access to the folder by the user.
Low memory or disk space can be solved by either closing unused applications, removing unused programs or files from your hard drive, or by adding RAM or a larger hard drive. In some cases, a memory leak might have occurred and is exhausting RAM without your knowledge. If you suspect that a memory leak is the problem, shutdown Word and VBA and restart the computer.
Rename the normal.dotm file and then restart Microsoft Word. When you exit Word, Word will build a new normal.dotm file. If you have a backup of normal.dotm, you can replace the defective file by using the backup copy instead of having Word repair the file.
If the VBE7.DLL is not the correct version, replace it.
If your network permissions are insufficient for access to a TEMP folder on a server share, contact the administrator and determine whether the permissions can be changed. If they cannot, redirect VB to use a local TEMP folder.
The error occurs with our customers who have installed update 15330.20246. It disappears when you revert to 15330.20230 OR create a new ACCDE with the newer Access version. This will then run on both builds, but not on older Office versions. By this I mean Access 2013 or 2010.
So it seems to be related to the latest update. However, the user also points out that build 15330.20246 is not yet listed in the Microsoft 365 update history. At this point, my thanks to the reader for the information.
In another tweet, the first user reported, that the error occurs after installing Office 2013 update KB5002121 or Office 2016 update KB5002112. In all cases, the Access error in Run Time or in Access apps accessing ACCDE files has been gone, after the update install has been rolled back.
