I've set up this network and mailing list as a contact point, a way of connecting. It's not meant to take over from other efforts, and if there's another network very similar to this one, please let us know so we can find the best way to collaborate (even merge if appropriate).
Since there are so many active Linux forums, I think it makes most sense to use for most questions, as well as the
Lightweight Linux Network on Identi.ca. So I'd like us to set up a way to track and search those conversations easily, using the
Lightweight tag for posting in Linux forums, or using both the
LightLinux and
Linux tags elsewhere.
Initial ideas:
-
A Google custom search would be handy - even better if we could make it favor recent postings.
- here are two site results, but I don't know if they can be mashed together somehow:
So if anyone has tag/search links to add or ideas for the custom search, or wants to take a lead, please reply here.
But although I'm pointing you to the forums, this list is also here when you need it, and might be a good way of keeping in touch between people with a particular passion for lean code and Lightweight Linux.
Welcome!
