Paul came up with a great thing.  I have expanded on it and have something that is ready for (at least I think it is) for a public testing.  It works great with 2 RPIs and allows for a custom show, the client does more then just mirror the server and the pre/post shows work.  It's easy on resources and would work in audio in mode as well.  I will post up a full implementation in the next few days.  I really like the way it works.
