Jonkershoek Excursion Shifted 1 Week

Dear Friends,

 

Two important reasons have compelled us to shift the date of our photographic excursion to Jonkershoek Nature Reserve (Assegaaibosch) for exactly 1 week, to Saturday, the 6th of December 2008.

 

Firstly, the 29th of November happens to coincide with the Year-End Exhibition of the Stellenbosch Academy of Design & Photography, which we would like to encourage ALL OUR MEMBERS to attend.

The Stellenbosch Academy of Design & Photography is located in Tegnopark and offers a range of short and long courses in Photography. We are looking towards closer co-operation with the Academy so that our club may offer a consistent, continuous and extremely worthwhile platform where our members can exercise photography and continuously grow in our favourite form of artistic expression! Watch this space!

 

Secondly, many of the members who have responded hitherto, have requested if it were possible to go on the excursion on the 6th of December instead, and since we aim to please those who have consistently supported us and been on our activities from day 1 of our club, we are compelled to comply.

 

So, diarise the following two upcoming club activities:

 

Saturday, 29 November 2008: Visit the Stellenbosch Academy of Design and Photography for their YEAR-END EXHIBITION - A must-see for all our members!

Saturday, 6 December 2008: Jonkershoek/Assegaaibosch Photographic Excursion - A must-do for all our members!

 

Please respond give us an indication of whether or not you will be participating in the above functions by Friday, 14 November 2008.
