Hi everyone!
Sorry for the short notice on this but I have just now received an email from Roger (Product Manager: Canon SA) about an EOS Roadshow, which I think sounds promising to beginner-photographers. Read below, please:
Hi fellow photographers
Not sure if any of you know - but we are in the middle of a mini roadshow at the moment - we were in Durban on 10 May and coming to Cape Town this weekend - then up to Jhb on 24 May.
PLEASE NOTE : - This roadshow is aimed at beginners ONLY. If you have a 300D, 350D or 400D - you'll get something out of it. Any users of the more professional models will find that this is very basic. It's a hints and tips exercise for beginners to get more out of their cameras brought to you by Canon and National College of Photography.
Please have a look at the details , venues and dates etc at :
EOS Roadshow venue/date details
Regards
Roger
I have marked some sections above in
bold, for emphasize. Apparently it is free, and there will also be gifts given out! :-)
Apparently, the form, on the website, which one use to register for the event, confuse some people. All it does, is to send an automated email to the Canon SA company that organise the EOS event. Just fill in the fields as required, confirm the details in the resulting pop-up email (do not worry about the confusing text) and send it on its way (the email address in the TO field is perfectly legit and safe).
Enjoy the event!
Thys
