Hey Everyone-- just a few updates:
  1. New Schedule
Apparently there have been a few discrepancies with the Long Bridge #4 & Long Bridge #1 fields. The attached schedule is the latest version just so you all have it.
  2. This Week + Practice
This is our 1 bye week for the season, so no scheduled game this week! We're trying to figure out a field for to scrimmage this Thursday since we haven't played in awhile. Again, stay posted. (Ashley let us know if you got in touch with the Arlington powers that be to reserve a field with lights!)
  3. Cancelled game last week:
Paul is working with someone to get it rescheduled. We'll e-mail everyone once we nail down a new date.

Hey guys-

I talked with the good people over at Arlington Parks&Rec and unfortunately reserving a field will put us back $100/hr (no lights) and $125/hr (with lights). I'm guessing we don't want to do that?

Other ideas:
-Practicing as early as possible at an elementary school before it gets dark
-Black top soccer on a basketball court
-Soccer Tennis

What do people want to do?

We also might be able to sneak onto a field that has the lights left on.
Lewinsville or Linway Terrace might work

Hmm. I vote black top soccer on a basketball court or "soccer tennis"-- though I'm not sure what that is, sounds fun!

Field would be ideal, but I think if we're scheduling a practice we should make sure we have a field/court secured so people don't waste their time driving there and realizing a) there's already people there or b) it's just total darkness. Kalish- any way we can check if Lewinsville/Linway are already booked?

"Adjacent to the Central Library, this 4.21 acre park features fields of all kinds: 3 Diamonds for Baseball and Softball, lighted fields, 6 Tennis courts, 1 Basketball court, and Volleyball Courts, with plenty of open space for play. Quincy Park also features places for picnics and a playground too!"

Tomorrow- 8pm practice at Quincy Park sound good? We can take whatever's open.

Yeah I live right by there, and it should be pretty well lit, even if they turn off the stadium lights I think there are a lot of street lights around so it should be okay. There is usually a lot of activity going on there, but hopefully we could grab at least part of a field.
