OK, there must be something I'm not getting:

How do I select a low-enough frequency band, so that my fixture will simply "pump to the beat"?

At the moment 375Hz seems to be the lowest band I can select.
I want to be able to sych to the kickdrum, so I need to go lower, maybe somewhere around 80Hz.
How do I do that? :)

Maybe it depends on your audio input (microphone?), but the first frequency should be around 25Hz. If it's not, check your audio device configuration in Windows as maybe there's some kind of sound "enhancers" that may cut some frequency ranges.

I'm on a desktop PC, without any microphone attached.
I just got Lightjams working the very first time, with a new controller.
I'm hearing music without any "enhancers" or effects...

Also I have an M-Audio Audiophile high quality soundcard, and I shouldn't even have any of those nonsene enhancers installed on my machine :)

Same thing happens also when using ASIO driver.
Strange...

Oh, actually the problem is specifically there only when using the ASIO driver.
With "WaveIn" the fequencies start low.

However, with WaveIn there seems to be a considerable delay, so I can't use that, at least on this PC.
But I'll be using a laptop anyway so I'll try with that tomorrow.

So this problem has got to be with M-Audio Audiophile ASIO-driver.
I do not have this issue with other PCs, nor do I have the issue with WaveIn.
Therefore I don't think this issue is necessarily with Lightjams.

Well, it's good to know. Thanks!
