Hi all, I've just downloaded the program and had a look around.

The reason I like the look of LightJams is because all I want to do is program a simple set up for my band's stage that I can launch from the program.

I have 8 Par Cans mounted on two tripods, one each for either side of the stage. They are all daisy changed to a USB-DMX dongle.

I would like to set up the Pars so that the outer ones on each stand have a fixed light colour ie: colour wash to the centre of the stage on one, and a white light to the front of the stage for the singer.

I would like two centre Pars to alternative in time to the music picked up by the computer microphone or a usb room microphone.

I know it's a tall ask from a novice, but how do I do it?

Thanks for listening,

Phil

Hi Phil, you can download the file from this post: https://groups.google.com/g/lightjams/c/y018CNJNNHI/m/wjp8-4VqBAAJ (the script used in LIghtjams), upload to ChatGPT with your request + your Channel DMX Map and you will be amazed what capable it is.

Here's a sample project with 8 RGB pars. The 4 centre pars (see the Centre pars grid) have the intensity linked to the audio BAR and alternate between the  left and right pars. The hue is linked to the audio brightness.

The outer pars (see the outer pars grid) have fixed hue and the top ones are white with the saturation to 0%.

There's a monitor grid allowing to see the result.

Don't hesitate asking questions!
