I have a fixture where there is no master dimmer. The color is set via a DMX channel with discrete values. I have set up this channel as an effect channel with the corresponding presets for each color.

As far as I understand it, blackout does not affect effect attributes. What is the best way to ensure that the value of such an attribute is set to 0 in the event of a blackout?

Many thanks for any helpful hints!

or what I actually want is that the lights to go out when the grid is deactivated :-)

Hi,

In the fixture template editor, there's a dimmable effect attribute.

Alternatively, create a grid with your attributes at 0 and leave this grid activated. Then set the precedence to your other grids to something higher than 0. This way, your grid with the 0s will take over when all your other grids are deactivated.
