I've tried everything.  I am looking to get these lights to work with just sound-reactive and not any other pattern.  I don't want to just set the sound setting on each unit as it defeated the whole point of getting LightJams, the DMX adapter and the wireless adapter.  Those adapters by the way work fine.

Here's the listing on where I bought them:  http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00EEZ3N74/ref=ask_ql_qh_dp_hza

I keep getting pulsating lights or a pattern that clearly is not synched with the music.

I tried your music player.  Every file .ljp file I could find.  Spent many hours on this.  I can't get this to work.

I tried to build it from scratch but I can't find something that matches the TSSS lights.  I tried every listing under generic and at best I get one color turned on.

Thank you.

I forgot to mention when I try the sound setting on each light unit I'm at the mercy of the volume of the speakers.  If it's too loud or too close the colors move too fast.

Hi Dennis,

If I understand correctly, you can't get the fixture patched in LJ? According the the manual, you have 2 modes, normal 3 channel (RGB) and 7ch mode.

If you want to use the sound reactive function in LJ, the easiest way to start is to set your fixture to 3ch mode and just patch it in LJ as generic RGB fixture.

Then you can set a color using the Hue attribute and assign a music band to the Intensity attribute and it should pulse on the beat.

If you use the 7ch mode on the fixture (d001), then you have channels that will control automatic patterns (integrated in the fixture) and that may be the source of your pulsating light and the fact that it does not seem to respond to your commands.

Hi,

In addition to the Isaac's comment, you can check this little tutorial to get started: http://www.lightjams.com/tutorial.html#basic

Here's a project file with 16 TSSS fixtures in the 7 channel mode. I've linked the dimmer to the music intensity and it changes color at each beat.

Thanks to all of you.  I have a lot of progress now.  I'm playing with it but I think I got more done when I I switched to d001 (d008), etc.

I have all six of my current lights to the same colors.  I wish I could have two different sets but this is more than enough now.

I see I will have to get an upgrade on my system to be able to play LightJams on my main computer (it has a touchscreen) instead of my laptop.

Thank you again.  I'll check back when I think I got it working just right so maybe you can add this fixture in a future upgrade.
