I'm stuck finding that after I patch my fixtures in lightjams, I end up taking a photo of the patch screen with my phone to remember the channel assignments so that I can setup the actual fixtures' settings properly.  Anyone know a way to export the fixture list, print it, view it on a mobile device, etc?  other option is just having 2 people but there isn't always that luxury...

I don't know a way, sadly, but I fully agree with you. Would be fantastic to able to easily get on the phone.

In a dreamworld i wouldn't mind a simple remote control app for Lightjams, a simpler version of the Lightjams pad or so, for Android/iOS.
Such an app could then have full access to the patchpanel, atleast as a viewer, but to able to change adresses and universes from the phone would be wonderful :-)

Hi!

What about being able to export the patch as a csv? You could print it or open it on your phone - there are csv viewers for Android and iOS.

Another option would be to export as a html file. This may be even easier since you would not need a special app to view it as the any web browsers can be used. Also better for special characters support.

Here's a new beta version with the export as html feature.

Go in the patch window and click the export button at the bottom. The fixtures are exported as they are ordered in the list. So you can sort the list as you want the fixtures to appear.

64 bits: http://www.lightjams.com/app/lightjams64_test.zip
32 bits: http://www.lightjams.com/app/lightjams32_test.zip

You can open the html file on your computer with any browsers and print it and you can transfer it to your phone.

Let me know what you think of it!

Cheers,
Mathieu
