Advatek Pixlite 4 MK4II & Litejams

Hello I have:

1 LED strip with 240 RGB LEDS

1 PIXLITE 4 MKII 

I would like to control the LED strip using lightjams.  The pixlite is testing well with the LED.  But I am not sure how to interface the Pixlite with LightJams.  

I read thru the thread "Advatek Pixlite 16 Plug n Play" and I tried the "generic rgb 170" set up.  But still no =t sure how to get the two working together.  any advice or screenshots on setup would be appreciated.

Hi,

In the Pixlite App, you have to configure your LEDs universes, channels and protocol (Art-Net or sACN). You can read the Pixlite configuration manual for that.

Then in Lightjams, you have to patch your 240 generic RGB pixels with the same protocol, universes and channels as you set in your Pixlite. There are many tutorials here: https://www.lightjams.com/tutorial.html that can help you.

Also, your LJ machine and your Pixlite have to be on the same network, obviously.

Such simple advice and I have it working. sort of. I have to make my own tweeks.  The tutorial below really helped.  Also, at first, I was trying to configure my patch with ARTNET.  SACN seemed to work better.
