Fixture: Equinox Spectrapix Batten

Hi folks,

I'm sharing the fixture profile for the above which I've created.

Could any of you experienced folks  look over the profile and comment on it?

I've only created the 53ch mode (for now) since that's most likely the only one I'll use for the foreseeable future and since the profile wasn't already in the list I presumed it's not a widely used fixture. Anyway, happy to receive comment and requests/suggestions for improvement.

Hello again,
after struggling to see how to get HSL attributes to work, I realised I shouldn't have created individual Dimmer channels for the R, G & B fixture LED groups, but used the RGB type for each "pixel".
I reworked the 53-Ch mode, then decided I might as well do some deleting and create all of the other modes as well, to complete the fixture profile.

See new version attached.

If any of the experienced users out there could take a look and comment on any corrections you think I should make, that'd be wonderful.

(these inexpensive 2x8 battens are the main part of my current setup)

Hi,

It looks good. One thing that might not work well with the monitor in Lightjams is that a shutter capability has been used to do the strobe. It should be an effect capability. I usually don't use the built-in strobe, so you might even disable it by using a fixed capability with a value of 0.

My preferred mode would be the 48 channel mode. The only thing I'd add is the virtual dimmer option for each RGB capability. This way, you get the HSL and dimmer control for each pixel.

I've amended Ch-2 in 53-Ch and 5-Ch modes to NOT use a "shutter" type, but "effect" as you suggested.

I've left it as specified in the manual since if anyone else chooses you use this fixture profile, it will be as-expected from the manual, rather than embedding the preferences of 1 (albeit a very well qualified) user :o)

Also set all RGBs to have "Virtual Dimmer".
