Hello,

I am spending a lot of time to reposition an RGB light fixture, because it involves moving the hue attribute in one grid, then moving the int attribute in another grid then finally the sat attribute in a third grid every time I shift a fixture. It is important that the hue, sat and int attributes for a fixture are all located in the same postion to work well with background media.

I want to create a master attribute that moves the grid position of three other different attributes of a different type, each of the linked attributes are on their own grid.

This is very similar to using the 'duplicate grid', then 'link attribute layout' functionality, but I want to link one type of attribute to a different type of attribute.

Can this be done?

Regards,
Anthony

Hi,

I'll think about this. Meanwhile, you can use the "Replace by list selection same fixture" feature like this:

- Change the layout of one of the grid (let say the intensity grid)
- Copy all intensity attributes (select them all and press ctrl+c)
- Go in the hue grid
- Delete all attributes
- Paste the copied intensity attributes
- Select the hue attributes in the attribute list
- Go in the Edit/Attributes menu and click the "Replace by list selection same fixture" item

Do the same thing for the saturation attributes.

Yes that is the way I do it currently do it, but would like to move something only once to save anything being missed and reduce tasks involved.

Would be great to see this feature added if it can.

Thanks for your response,

Anthony
