Here's the full project file for a real trade show that was showcasing multimedia companies. Each company had a booth presenting a multimedia experience with a different duration for each booth. Three groups of 8 people max were doing the visit at a time.

The interesting part is that the lights were actually the guides. Visitors were instructed to start the visit when the lights in the entrance corridor turned green. Then they followed the moving lights to the booth with white lights around the door. Then the lights were dimmed during the multimedia experience and once it was finished, the lights turned full white, indicating that the visitors can proceed to the next booth.

The last 3 booths were always on and visitors were able to move freely and exit the trade show whenever they were finished.

The sequencer grid contains the sources simulating the 3 groups of visitors. What's nice is that there's no complicated cue list with the position of each group for each step. Instead, sources simulate groups by moving to the next booth automatically when the time of the current booth is up. This allows to easily add/remove groups to accommodate a big or small waiting line of visitors.

There have been a couple of special requests for various booths. One booth (the 1st one) needed a OSC trigger to start/stop a video. Some booths had extra lights with specific colors, etc.

Here's the floor plan to help you better understand the visitor flow:
