It is possible to set beginning and end points to effects on a time line, so that lighting effects can be sunk exactly to a song

Hi,
There's no timeline editor in Lightjams. You can use a DAW or any 3rd party software with a timeline and able to send MIDI/OSC/DMX to Lightjams. The idea is to create your lighting effects in Lightjams and trigger them as you please. Alternatively, you can use the real-time audio analysis features of Lightjams to trigger and control your effects in sync with the music.
