DMXKING going 'offline'

Hi, 

We are using a number of dmxking ultradmx interfaces on windows 10 pc's.

every week or so (sometimes more often) lightjams 'loses' the interfaces and shows a red light by dmx out. all we do is remotely connect into the pc's and run a hardware scan through device manager and everything runs as normal.

we have replaced the ultradmx interfaces thinking that may be the issue, but we still have the same problem. 3 sites are doing this now.

anyone have any ideas?

Hi,

This might be a power saving problem. Make sure to disable the option to suspend usb ports and other power saving features.

Alternatively, consider using nodes like the eDmx from Dmxking instead of usb-dmx interfaces. There seems to be many usb related problems lately with windows 10. Probably due to manufacturers not updating their drivers.
