I am using wowza streaming engine (Version 4.7) for VOD Streaming.My requirement is to play the video file with multiple audios including English, Arabic, and French.I have set up a plugin from GitHub ( -plugin-multitrackvod) for multiple audio tracks.

MY OS is Windows 10 and I am trying to play video in Adobe HDS. I am attaching SMIL, please have a look and share a solution with me. An example related to VOD with multiple audios will be really helpful.

I am actually having the same problem as well are my clients who are lawyers. We have Just started using Wowza at our office and it has been helpful but it is definitely a learning experience lol. If someone could help us out that would be great!

PallyCon Wowza DRM Plugin is an addon module of Wowza Streaming Engine that supports streaming service with DASH (CENC) and HLS (FPS and NCG) content by DRM packaging original MP4 video or live stream in real time.

Install the Wowza Streaming Engine on a server for streaming. Create a Wowza streaming application on the Applications tab after connecting to Wowza Streaming Engine Manager on your browser. You can choose VoD or live applications. If you use both methods, you have to create and configure each application separately.

Add DRM plugin related settings by modifying /[WOWZA_HOME]/conf/[APPLICATION]/Application.xml file or using Wowza Streaming Engine Manager on a browser. Wowza application for Multi DRM (PlayReady, Widevine, FPS) and NCG DRM application should be separately created and set up as below.

With Wowza Streaming Engine month-to-month plans, you can change at any time. Changes will take effect at the end of the current billing period. You may not change an annual plan mid-period; plan changes will only take effect at the end of the 12-month subscription period.

Yes, you are limited to a maximum of 10 concurrent, transcoded channels per instance per month. If you exceed 10 concurrent, transcoded channels per instance, you will be charged at $25 per additional transcoded channel. Overages are billed in full month increments only, based on the count of the highest high-water mark for concurrent, transcoded channels per instance each month. Please contact us for custom pricing for high-volume transcoding.

You can download Wowza Streaming Engine on any server hardware or deploy instantly on a major cloud provider using a preconfigured virtual machine preloaded with Wowza Streaming Engine software. HTTP Live Streaming (HLS) is a specification created by Apple for live and VOD streaming of segmented, adaptive bitrate content over HTTP. Wowza Streaming Engine can deliver streams to players and devices that support HLS, including iOS devices (iOS 3.0 or later), QuickTime Player (version 10 or later), Safari (4.0 or later), Roku and Amino set-top boxes, and some smart TVs.

Dynamic Adaptive Streaming over HTTP (DASH), or MPEG-DASH, is an open ISO standard created by the Moving Pictures Expert Group for live and VOD streaming of segmented, adaptive bitrate content over HTTP. Wowza Streaming Engine can deliver streams to players and devices that support MPEG-DASH, including Android devices, HTML5 players, and some smart TVs.

With both HLS and MPEG-DASH using the fMP4 container, playlists for both protocols reference the same containers, which streamlines encoding, makes efficient use of computing resources, optimizes CDN bandwidth, requires less caching, and is more cost effective when streaming at scale than packaging HLS and MPEG-DASH separately. Wowza Streaming Engine 4.7.8 added support for CMAF with live streams.

Low-Latency HLS (LL-HLS) is an extension of the HLS specification from Apple for lower latency and backward compatibility with HLS. With the CMAF packetizer, Wowza Streaming Engine can produce LL-HLS live streams for delivery to players and devices that support LL-HLS, including native apps and the Safari browser on devices running iOS 14. If a player supports HLS but not LL-HLS, it will fall back to playing LL-HLS streams as standard HLS instead.
