Hi LightCouch,

We have been using LightCouch for 2 years in different projects. Thanks for your work as it help us a lot.

Are you still interested in keeping this project active?

As we didn't see activity in the project, We've forked it and we've included many new features on it.  Our intention is to keep an active development of this fork.

We offer you collaboration, if you whish to keep the main project active.

Don't hesitate to contact

Thanks,
Juanjo

Hi,

I've been looking for a real JDBC driver for CouchDB that supports the standard JDBC interfaces.
While this project isn't a JDBC driver, it appears to be a close starting point.

You mentioned you have forked this project and were looking to support it.
I'm interested in any open-source JDBC driver that supports at least a minimal SQL subset of operations for CouchDB.

Your thoughts???

Hi Jim,

We offered collaboration but we don't have any response so we continue using our fork in our projects. The fork is https://github.com/IndabaConsultores/LightCouch

LigthCouch is a CouchDB API wrapper thar helps you to interact with CouchDB from Java. You are looking for a JDBC driver but consider that CouchDB is a NoSQL Database, not a relational database where JDBC (and SQL)  applies.

You can check  Ektop ( https://github.com/helun/Ektorp) a JPA approach for CouchDB interaction.

Thanks,
Juanjo
