Add and remove servers

Hey,

I want to dynamically spawn servers to keep up with load. What I
understood of lighthouse and tyrant is that the master-master
replication involves 2 ttservers at a time. Correct me if I am wrong
but you cannot do something like A is master of B and B is master of
C, etc.

So if you add systems, lighthouse figure the right storage using the
lookup rings, but if you remove systems, you might lose part of the
keys?

Hi Julien

This is correct, i.e. if you remove both master's you will lose data. And you can't have three masters, you can have 2 masters and 2 slaves if you are really afraid of losing data.

Generally thought I would recommend going with 2 masters - using only one master in production and using the other master for backups.
