Hello Amir,
I just checked out libketama, and noticed it includes a python binding (haven't read it yet though, so I won't vouch for it ;-)
I'm just wondering if it was around when you wrote hash_ring, and if so, why you chose to go with pure python instead of binding to libketama, since you mentioned that you used the same algorithm, and it seems like it would be faster.
