how to evaluate performance

hi everybody i m new to lightcloud.
i want to test performance of lightcloud.
as i have installed lightcloud as per given procedure in plurk
website.

I am not getting any other help to write queries.
how can i write some testcode to insert delete and update the data in
tokyo cabinet (tokyo tyrant)
give me some sample (python) example to do it.
plz give me some useful inforamtion
