Help Ukraine refugees

Dear Pastors and Community Leaders:
May God’s Peace and Grace be with you!
It is heartbreaking to see that over 1 million refugees escaped from Ukraine to the neighboring countries due to the invasion of Russia into Ukraine since February 24, 2022.
According to the United Nations, 351 civilians died from February 24 to March 5, 2022. The fatalities of military forces from both sides have been 3,000 to 3,500 during the period of February to 28, 2022.
Besides praying to God earnestly to stop the escalating war, the Light and Salt Association (LSA) is taking an initiative to raise fund to support Ukrainian refugees in Romania. LSA will collaborate with the World Vision, where the World Vision has developed initial plans to distribute essential aids to 67,000 people and provide psychosocial and educational support to children and families.
Your donation will be tax-deducible with the LSA receipt and 100% of your donations will be distributed and used for the refugees. Please write a check payable to:

· God to strengthen and protect the pastors and church in Ukraine.

Dear all friends,
Thank you for your prayers and donation to help serve those Ukraine refugees in need by the World Vision with Christ’s love. Light and Salt, as a partner of the World Vision, has collected $10,406 so far and sent a check of the total amount(100%) to the World Vision for providing some hygiene kits and children’s educational activity packages as needed.
Please continue praying for the Ukraine Crisis and the refugees as follows:
· Pray for God’s mercy and peace to come and the conflict can be resolved quickly.( as of May 8, 2022, there are 3,381 civilian deaths including 235 children).
· Pray for the safety of the refugees –(7.7 million people are displaced inside Ukraine while 5.3 million refugees fled to neighboring countries) and their needs to be met. Strengthening the churches and Christians in Ukraine and neighboring countries that Holy Spirit increase their faith and love, provide them with resources so that they won’t lost hope in this difficult time and can bring hope to others around them.
*Pray to God for 1.7 billion people (over one-fifth of the global population) affected secondarily by Ukraine crisis which makes them into poverty, destitution, and hunger.
· Pray for God to protect the humanitarian workers including World Vision staffs on the ground. May they have strong and healthy spirit, body and mind with sufficient donations and relief resources to continue helping refugee families and children.
