Can we bring anything new to L&I this year?

Hey all!

I know it's "early", but I was curious if there was something special that anyone was interested in collaborating/working on and bringing to L&I this year.  Understanding that I am a newcomer and youngin' compared to tenured camp members / organizers (and also that most of the camp is comprised of members whom live near each other, who all graciously let me participate with them), I feel that we really phoned it in last year.

Ping's Light Orchestra is always wonderful, but I think due to a combination of storms, inadequate planning, and lack of vision, our camp was was uncharacteristically dark, especially for having been placed on the Esplanade!  I don't know if placement has happened yet, but I wouldn't be surprised if we are pushed back a bit this year as a result.

Ultimately, I am curious if we can come up with anything to complement our existing experiences that would build on that engaging and participatory experience.  Perhaps something worthy of the "Light and Illusion" moniker?

Thoughts? Comments? Hate mail? :-)

As far as I know there is no light in an illusion this year . Ellen Ruby Benjamin and I are planning on camping with kids ville

yes it is true, it seems our camp has dissolved for this year :(

that said I haven't figured out exactly what I'm doing, but my fall back plan is to stay in Tokyo (the 9 ranger outpost) if it's just you and Deanne can probably check in and see if there is room for you to join us there, the one caveat might be if you were think g about becoming a ranger this year, (they frown on new prospectives camping at outposts due to previous complications.

Claire and I are skipping this year. My heart is sad as i miss the fun and nuttiness of the past few years with you all. 

2016 is not far away... I've got some work to do to get ready.
