daMongolian & Benny & L&I,

I've attached drawings with dimensions of both the LED walls. Benny might have some more comments but I this should be the last revision.

Only the light walls are placed precisely because the DPW auger should drill in the ground anchors sooner - not later. The placement of the rest of the camp will never be finalized - we may be working on 2014 well into 2015.

The diagonal wall on the corner of E & 3:00 is at a about 45-degrees relative to the Esplanade. The corner itself is not 90-degrees but the approximation should be ok.

I left 20 feet clear between Illumination Village and the northern most Wall that's parallel to the Esplande. This 20 feet is for my greedy carports.

And I left about 30 feet open between the 2 walls for the living room to look out between.

The trick is to measure the placement of the front anchors from the nearest road. Then measure the back anchors based on the front anchors. The 4 anchors on the diagonal wall are going to be tricky to make square. Measure the front anchors from the road then adjust the back anchors relative to the front anchors.

There are going to be two light orchestras?  Wow.  I have spare laptops and spare Kinects, so this can be made to happen!

I'm planning to be on playa on Friday; what sort of timing did y'all have in mind for setting them up?

We hope that Greg can get the screws screwed by DPW before Saturday. A bunch more of us will arrive Friday night and Saturday mid-day-ish. I bet that the screws will be screwed before dusk on Saturday.

The walls are going to be very beautiful.

Ping - Cam & I will be arriving sometime Saturday with the Light Orchestras. I suspect we will get them set up physically on Sunday - then wait for you to come by and make them work their magic.

Babak moved in last night, we just made the request for HEaT (the folk who do the augers)

I'm currently hanging out and waiting, and Babak will trade out for me in a bit.

Hopefully they'll be done by this evening,

:)

do we have planned arrivals for this evening? or is it looking like tomorrow?

I'm on shift 6pm-midnight tonight, and then again at noon tomorrow.

We have to use DPW anchors. I'm bringing Benny's anchors as a last resort

eight anchors have been sunk. :)

Babak agrees that Palinor, is in fact hot. I missed her.... but I've seen her working  before.
