This Week on TOWARD THE LIGHT
Beverly Brodsky ~ Sunday, 20 January 2008
In 1970 Beverly Brodsky was taken into the heart of creation and back
to the moment before the Big Bang. Her NDE taught her everything that
matters: who we are, why we are here, and the nature of reality. Her
account is the concluding one in Dr. Kenneth Ring’s bookb Lessons from
the Light (1998), which he calls the most complete in his collection.
She is also featured in Kevin Williams’ Nothing Better than Death
(2002), PMH Atwater’s The New Children and the Near-Death Experience
(2003), and Arvin Gibson’s They Saw Beyond Death (2006). She now
coordinates the San Diego chapter of the International Association for
Near-Death Studies (IANDS)
A Vassar graduate who retired from 28 years of service for the Federal
Government, Beverly is a freelance book editor who is also working on
her own book, including insights from hundreds of others culled from
17 years of running support groups on both coasts. She is fascinated
by the connection between deathbed visions and near-death experiences,
as well as their similarity to mystical states. An acclaimed
international speaker, Beverly is finds connections in the new
sciences and ancient wisdom that confirm the reality and power of
transformative spiritual awakenings. She was profiled in McCall’s,
featured in a BBC documentary (The Human Body), was featured in the
first NDE program ever broadcast on Israeli public radio, and is
included in the 2006 edition of Who’s Who in America.
