We have created Angular, Laravel, and Django samples with Hyper integrated into them as well. To get the sample projects, contact us at sup...@coderthemes.com. These are provided as complimentary with Hyper.

All The Samples From Mars is a 62 GB collection of 75 sample packs, created over the past 10 years by extensively sampling our favorite (often rare and vintage) drum machines, synthesizers, samplers, custom vinyl, acoustic instruments and more. All of our samples have been painstakingly mapped to your favorite DAWs and samplers and recorded through some of the best recording equipment in the world. We craft everything by hand in our studio:

The Everything Bundle is constantly growing bigger and better, as we add our latest creations to it, pushing our sonic boundaries further with each release as we gain more experience, come up with new ideas, and ask you what we should sample. By its very nature, the bundle is at its biggest and best any time you're reading this page. It includes every pack we've ever made at the time of purchase, but does not include future releases.

Holding ourselves to the highest sonic standard possible and utilizing years of experience with some of the nicest consoles, tape machines and outboard processing gear around, we've hopefully created our own sound along the way.

Drum machines and drum samplers are our speciality, and our samples feature both clean and processed, extensively multi-sampled one shots. When possible, we sample every pitch, decay, and parameter (in Ableton there are Macros that select different drum machine pitches, which makes a huge difference in sounding like the original drum machine).

With so many low quality drum machine samples floating around, we always begin our journey by capturing the cleanest possible samples at 24 BIT, making sure our machines are serviced, and recording through high end DIs, our API 1608 console and Apogee Symphony MKII converter.

Then, we spice things up a bit for the crowd that likes a little more flavor - engaging tape machines, saturators, re-sampling, compression, EQ, and even printing the sounds to vinyl and sampling that.

We've recorded everything from classics (808, 909, etc) to the more rare, hard to find drum machines like the LM1 (we sampled two!), and even stuff that has never been sampled before, like the MPC1, obscure Soviet drum machines and more. We've even recorded our own custom drum machine hits, by tracking acoustic drums with vintage broadcast mics and sampling them through our favorite hardware samplers (similar to how the early digital drum machines were made).

Sampling a synthesizer has proven to be somewhat of a dark art. It's something we had to teach ourselves over the years - downloading archaic software from brilliant (and quirky) Italian software developers who discontinued their product after being bought out by Apple.

Basically, we start with a synth we are in love with - mostly this is stuff that hasn't been sampled (for example, vintage Russian synths or the Voyetra), but we still find ourselves sampling classics because we love them.

On the keyboard itself, we spend days synthesizing the coolest and most useable patches - juicy analog bass, warm pads, cutting leads, wild FX - the list goes on, and greatly varies with each synth. Then, we multi-sample every note, often sampling additional filter and modulation settings. Usually we record synths pretty cleanly, but sometimes we'll hit various tubes and saturators and even tape!

Once these are chopped, mapped and looped to perfection (it takes forever and is its own art form), we go to town creating presets in various software samplers. Each software is different and has its own options and sound - Ableton allows us to get really deep with modulation, and FX, while Logic just sounds really good.

Multi-sampling synths and drum machines is our speciality, but throughout the years we've done more than just this! We've created Found Sounds by recording rain hitting various objects, thunder, traffic, the ocean, elevators, refrigerators, drill bursts, etc - in different environments, and then re-pitched these on tape machines. We've made experimental tape and trumpet instruments, and have also created the most comprehensive collection of drum machine midi grooves in existence.

This is all to say that a huge amount of time, effort, love, care and attention to detail and experimentation goes into our process. We do everything the hard way and are constantly challenging ourselves because we consider this an art, not a business. Since there isn't enough space here to truly detail our process over the past decade, I recommend browsing the store and reading any pages that interest you - it's all included in this download ?.

The only reason we're able to give away all of this hard (and very costly) work for this price is because of your continued support. I truly believe that something high quality can and should be delivered for a low enough price to reach people who don't have a high budget - hey, I started Samples From Mars with almost no gear to my name. And just as drum machines and synthesizers democratized the music making process in the early 80s, these sample packs should continue that legacy and give you access to those same machines.

To save you time, we've decided to compile all of our previous free MIDI packs and create one BIG collection of melodies. Inside this huge library, you will find 8 packs stuffed with the freshest MIDI and WAV loops. In case you are looking for ultimate inspiration, DO NOT miss this bundle, because you simply have to hear all of the amazing ideas and progressions inside. "WA Production are lethal weapons for our tracks, the drum parts are just amazing, exactly what we need to give that powerful and fat sound that we like! Also the melody parts are great tho, we definitely recommend their sample packs since they're super!"

"We love how much variety and diversity WA Production samples bring to our projects, we have found much inspiration from the packs. All of the samples are of high quality and are completely current into today's "EDM" market."

"WA production have some of the best samples and sounds in the world. The programing and kits are top notch and sound like tracks which are on the Beatport Charts . I also love the diversity in the samples and styles they have."

Many years ago, I learned the hard way that the drum samples you use in your tracks must be absolutely amazing. The lead could be mixed too quiet or the FX could be generic and predictable, but the drum samples had to be on point...

And I realized how much of a mistake this was when they announced the winner; a young producer who submitted only a single drum loop (which I later learned he had sequenced and programmed using entirely free drum samples). It was a hard lesson learned, but it forced me to take my drum samples VERY SERIOUSLY.

Samples are the backbone of music production and have been a vital part of almost every producer's workflow for the better part of four decades. If you are not using samples, you are hamstringing your career as a musician: full stop.

Hearing amateur producers claim that you need to be doing everything from the ground up always makes me remember a popular internet analogy that often circulates throughout the producer community online:

"I thought using loops was cheating, so I programmed my own using samples. I then thought using samples was cheating, so I recorded real drums. Then thought that programming was cheating, so I learned to play drums for real...

But there is an infinite number of samples out there, and it takes time to developed an ear to recognize good samples from bad ones. It all starts with building up a drum library, but even that can get expensive. But when done right, it can open up a ton of creative doors and get you finishing music faster!

What They're Good For: Cymatics was all the rage just a few years ago and for good reason. Their percussion one-shots hit hard, making them a staple of genres such as G-House and Riddim for years. They are quick to use and require little processing.

What They're Not So Good For: Their quality is a blessing and a curse, seeing as how 90% of all bass-music producers were using these samples heavily. And their distinctive punch and weight make them even more easily recognizable.

Pro Tip: These free drum samples shine when you can find ways to make them not as recognizable. By layering more textured samples over the top (foley hits or gritty hip-hop percussions), you can add uniqueness to them while still maintain their power, weight, and quality.

What They're Good For: Grammy winning quality drum samples put together by Jay Fisher (drummer, audio engineer and beat maker/producer). He has built a gigantic collection of the best drum sounds and acoustic percussion samples out there for any modern professional quality genre. Years in development, these sounds record everything from vinyl records to vintage drum machines and an immense amount of his own live recordings as a drummer and percussionist.

What They're Not So Good For: Hard to pinpoint many negative qualities, but these samples definitely fit into a more mainstream sound. Think popular major label artist sounds in Pop, Hip-Hop, Electronic, and Rock. They are going to pack a lot of punch into your sound, so if you make more chilled out styles and don't want your drums forward then these might not be for you.
