Sorry to say, it's four lines, not just the magic one line (from the sbt prompt):

*sbtIdeaRepo at http://mpeltonen.github.com/maven/
*idea is com.github.mpeltonen sbt-idea-processor 0.1-SNAPSHOT
update
idea

thanks, that helped. you should put that somewhere where everyone can
see it.

i've started to follow this tutorial:
http://www.assembla.com/wiki/show/liftweb/Todo_Sample_Application

but this snippet code:

class Util {
def example(xhtml: NodeSeq) = {
val tuple = "status" --> "wtf is happening here"
xhtml.bind("peer", tuple)
}
}

destroys the page. the returned xhtml content is:

<p>
This is an introduction to templates. Though it's brief I've got
no doubt you'll
be very
wtf is happening here</p>

everything after the "peer:status" is cut off until the </p> of the
template.

the xhtml that is applied to Util.example is changed to:

<p>
This is an introduction to templates. Though it's brief I've got
no doubt you'll
be very
<peer:status>
once you're done and will ready to dive into the many
cool aspects of Lift.
</peer:status></p>

which is obviously wrong, too.

if i change my template to:

<h2>Template introduction</h2>
<lift:Util.example>
<p>
This is an introduction to templates. Though it's brief I've got
no doubt you'll
be very
<peer:status></peer:status>
once you're done and will ready to dive into the many
cool aspects of Lift.
</p>
</lift:Util.example>

instead of the original

<h2>Template introduction</h2>
<lift:Util.example>
<p>
This is an introduction to templates. Though it's brief I've got
no doubt you'll
be very
<peer:status/>
once you're done and will ready to dive into the many
cool aspects of Lift.
</p>
</lift:Util.example>

i get the correct result.

btw, your wiki site tells me to use "->", but this only works in the
first case (bind("x", xhtml, "a" -> "b")
in the second (xhtml.bind), you have to use "-->", not "->"
you might want to fix that.

i'll look into lift the next few days, so be prepared to answer some
questions ;)

Hi Dennis,

That example uses the older binding technique and your project is most likely using the newer Html5Parser, which doesn't always work with XHTML code like in this example.

To get it to work you would either need to revert back to OldHtmlProperties, change to XHtmlInHtml5OutProperties, or update the html in the templates to respect the Html5Parser.

Or, you could just start here instead: http://liftweb.net/getting_started

Or https://github.com/mpeltonen/sbt-idea which is the homepage of the processor itself.

Note that there's a non-snapshot version now:

Does it still remains the right way to map sbt-based project into intellyj-idea project?

Also, after using "Processor Method" described here: https://github.com/mpeltonen/sbt-idea
... for sbt-managed project (actually basic example downloaded from starting with lift page),
I get a proposition to create a web faced - do I need it or must I ignore it?

Yes, quite so. I use it this way, and encourage so to people who ask :)

IntelliJ's facet detection is quite nice. Go ahead and accept that, it won't hurt.
You'll also find the additional info that shows up in deployment descriptor tab useful.
