Hi
As I have seen requests on this list for a squryl-record user set-up example.
I have been digging in to it and have found helpful bits and pieces here and there and have now putt it all together in a basic example.
It currently has:
* A user register/login snippet with some user data validation
* Html5 form input validation (with visual instant feedback to user)

The example is self-contained and should work "out of the box" see the readme for instructions.
The example utilises a in memory database for demonstration purpose but it also has prepared and tested set up:s for MySql and Postgres.

The example is here
https://github.com/karma4u101/Basic-SquerylRecord-User-Setup

I am still a bit new to Scala/Lift so the code may have some ruff edges (let me know)
Improvements and suggestions are welcome!

best regards

Thanks for putting this together! and you get bonus points for using
an in memory database, which makes it real easy to play around with
the example :)

Thanks everyone,
Lift and Git/Github/SBT makes it really fast and easy to put together example/test apps and it has become my preferred way to test out and learn new (to me) features or concept in Lift and as long as I think it will be useful for others adding a readme and a launcher doing some cleanup, commenting and pushing it to the public is a few minutes away.
So stay tuned for more ;)

best regards
