Hi,

I am new to Scala and Lift. I want to use lift-json independently of Lift on Scala 2.9.0.1, but was not able to
find a jar that works.

I looked at the documentation on Github

and it's not clear to me how you get it run on Scala 2.9.

Can anybody give me pointers to either a downloadable jar or simple build procedure to build the jar ?

Thank you.

Lift 2.4-M1 includes lift-json built against 2.9.0 and 2.9.0-1.  Just include it in your sbt or Maven file and all will work as expected.

Thank you.

Martin,

I appreciate that you responded to my question, but your answer is exactly what I got verbatim from the page I referenced.

I will not use Maven, I had to used it in the past and it's a broken approach IMO.

I tried SBT, but the setup did not work as advertised despite. It might have to do with my local setup and I'll look more into it.

The post (https://github.com/lift/framework/blob/master/core/json/README.md) mentions under "Others" to use two Jars and scalap would do the trick with no further information.

I was hoping somebody could point me to a built jar or give me some pointers to get the third option working.

Thank you.
