Greetings from LIFT-Philadelphia's New Office at 56th and Chestnut!

Dear friends,

This spring, we made an exciting move to expanded new office space in West Philadelphia at 56th and Chestnut.  In our new location, we now have 10 client workstations and additional staff and meeting rooms, which means that we can engage more volunteers and serve even more clients in a professional, welcoming space.

We invite you to stop by for a visit – please email me to arrange a tour, and stay tuned for an open house coming up in the fall.

I’ve included some additional updates below, and I look forward to staying in touch over the coming months.

Wishing you a wonderful summer,
Josh Romalis
Executive Director

Over 2,500 Clients Served

LIFT-Philadelphia served 2,559 clients in its 2011 Program Year, nearly 300 more than the previous year.  These clients worked with over 120 extraordinary volunteers who contributed more than 11,000 hours of service to the community.  With additional space in West Philadelphia, we are looking forward to meeting the needs of a significantly higher number of individuals and families from throughout the city.

New Advisory Board Member

We are thrilled to welcome Leslie Mazza as the newest member of LIFT-Philadelphia’s Advisory Board.  Leslie is currently Senior Vice President, Resource Management and Development at Diversified Search, a top executive search firm based in Philadelphia.  Leslie’s extensive experience and expertise as well as her deep understanding of and commitment to the Philadelphia community make her a fantastic new addition to the Board.  Welcome, Leslie!
