Upcoming LIFT Events!

Hey guys!

 

As we mentioned at our biweekly on Sunday, there are a few cool events coming up for our LIFTers:

 

This Thursday, February 17^th at 7 pm, we have tickets to see the Ringling Bros Circus at the Wells Fargo Center. Tickets are reduced to $5 a person for LIFT volunteers, so if anyone is interested in attending, shoot Jordan (jgu...@liftcommunities.org) or myself an email.

 

Second event- free tickets to see a performance at the Curtis School of Music! There are two different options for us- On April 12^th (Tuesday), we have free orchestra tickets, OR we can go see a Mozart opera that will be running from May 5-7^th (Thursday-Saturday). These events are a while away, but we want to reserve our tickets as early as possible. Send me an email if you are interested in attending either/both of these performances. We have the option of either securing a group of tickets for either performance if enough people are interested, and if not, we can get individual gift certificates for students who want to attend. Basically, if you want to go, let me know and we will make it happen!

 

Also, if you want to support our fellow LIFTers, Ashleigh Taylor will be in Penn’s upcoming performance of the Vagina Monologues (Friday, February 18^th and Saturday February 19^th at 8 pm) and Clay Powers will be performing in a Drexel comedy show on Thursday February 24^th at 8 pm in the Drexel Creese Student Center. If you want to show some LIFT love, let me know and I’ll get you information on either event!
