How to lock in pre-filled survey responses?

Could anyone help me figure out how to ‘lock in’ a pre-filled response on REDCap? I am working on a longitudinal survey project that modifies a healthcare utilization (HCU) measure to create 3 different versions of our parent surveys. To do so, I used branching logic to control what time point the parents see. The 1st time point asks parents over the last 12 months, the 2nd time point removes the entire HCU form, the 3rd time point asks over the last 3 months, and the 4th time point asks over the last 12 months again. I was able to pre-fill the time point by selecting the number from the drop down menu then clicking the ‘save and continue’ button before sending the survey invitation, but would like to email the survey invitation to participants with the time point locked in. For example if ID #100 is completing the survey at time point 3, I can select 3 from the drop down menu and then press the save and continue button. This would ensure that the first page of the online survey would appear to participants as time point 3, but the participant would still be able to change this time point.

I checked in the REDCap Help & FAQ section and noticed the “How to pre-fill survey questions” section applied to only public survey links. Unfortunately, we are sending out the surveys using a Participant List so is there any way to pre-fill information into a survey and lock it in so participants aren’t allowed to change the value?
