Action method not getting executed for all users

Hi,

In our application we have 2 portlets:

1) Search portlet
2) Create portlet

When a user searches for specific details from DB and clicks on the edit hyperlink then it will redirect to a action method defined in create portlet.

The problem here is, the action method is getting executed only for few users. But there is no specific configuration as such.

Can anyone tell me what could be the root cause of this issue?
