Job Description

Job Title: Programmer/Analyst (One Year Contract)

Location : Sanjose,CA

Duration : 1+ year(extendable)

Rate: Open + expenses

Detailed overview of responsibilities:

Map database tables to Tibco Spotfire

Create Tibco Spotfire reports

Map database tables to Business Objects

Create Business Object reports

Develop web interfaces

Scope of work:

Review detailed functional specifications,

Understand the specifications

Recognize questionable design issues and Question such design issues

Produce a high level technical specification

Develop compact, documented, and easily maintained code that implements the functional requirements according to the technical specifications.

Work environment:

Developer will work independently but will communicate closely with project management and will work in sync with the team. (team member vs. independent)

Role the position and department has within the organization:

This position will be a part of the Engineering Data Analysis Group within the IT department.  The position will report to the YMS project manager.

Job Requirements

Work experience:

Min 5 year of experience in IT Semiconductor Yield Management related projects (required)

Oracle Database (required) 10g/11i

Tibco Spotfire (required)

Business Objects (preferable)

PHP (preferable)

Web development (preferable)

Object Oriented Design (preferable)

Programming experience in object-oriented language (C#, Java, or C++) (preferable)

Education or certifications:

BS in Computer Since or equivalent 

Soft skills:

Self-directed

Good time management and  organization skills,

Good communications skills
