New release of PhotoCatalog for Android now available. The most
significant changes are related to now using a content provider which
allows all screens to update dynamically as soon as data has changed.
Also, the Map View has enhanced usability and the Export option has been
improved.

Awesome, thanks! Will this version have any adverse effects on existing logged data on the phone upon an upgrade?

Pleasantly,

It shouldn't though the changes I've made to the default preferences won't take effect.  I also regularly make backups of the app in Titanium Backup.  It shouldn't matter here, but it is important if switching between debug and release versions of PhotoCatalog for Android™.  I've kept my log data through all my changes from 0.3 up through 0.4 on my phone.
