Transdisciplinary Agora for Future Discussions (TAFFD's) Journal is an International reputable scholarly publication owned by TAFFD's Inc, USA. The Journal invites well-researched innovative articles (both empirical and opinions) in all publications from every discipline with zero plagiarism. The areas include but are not limited to contemporary global philosophies like Arts, Medical Sciences, Futurology, Fearology, Transhumanism, Philosophy, Engineering, Communication, Natural Science, Education, Space Sciences, Environmental Science, Management Sciences, and Social Sciences. Articles/papers/manuscripts for publication in TAFFD's Journal must be original and have not been published in, or submitted to, any other journal for consideration. THE TAFFD's JOURNAL HAS EIGHT SENIOR EDITOR POSITIONS
1. EDITOR-IN-CHIEF (Our Editor in Chief is Dr. Doris Ngozi Morah, Ph.D)
The editor-in-chief is the lead editor and ultimately responsible (usually by a contractual arrangement) for the academic content of the journal. His/her primary responsibilities usually include:
Directing the overall strategy of the journal (in cooperation with the publisher and the society, as applicable).
Reviewing and deciding upon submitted manuscripts to ensure sustainable and timely copy flow.
Acting as an ambassador for the journal, commissioning content, and fielding submission enquire as appropriate. He or she must be a Ph.D. holder, active in service with a university or institute.
2. ASSOCIATE EDITORS
The editor-in-chief delegates work to these associates and may deputize some decisions to them.
Associate Editors (AEs) play a key role in peer-reviewed publishing, supporting the journal Editor as subject experts on various topics. AEs oversee assigned manuscripts, moving these papers thorough review and revision. AEs are responsible for assessing manuscript quality, obtaining peer reviews, requesting revisions where appropriate, and making recommendations to the journal Editor about acceptance or rejection of a manuscript.
3. ARTICLES EDITORS
The Articles Editor is responsible for the quality of the editorial work done by the Journal's editors. The Articles Editor reviews all the papers at the start of the term and then assists each editorial team in developing an editing strategy. Once each team has completed its substantive editing, the Articles Editor reviews their work. He or she also conducts a training session on substantive editing at the beginning of the year.
4. PRODUCTION EDITOR (WEB AND PUBLISHING)
The Production Editor is responsible for all technical aspects of the Journal's operations. This includes formatting the articles and designing the Journal's cover, the masthead, and lead pages. The Production Editor is also responsible for soliciting, editing, and cite-checking all book review they also training volunteers and editors in various aspects of the technical production of the Journal.
5. SUBMISSIONS EDITORS
The Submissions Editor is responsible for the timely and thorough assessment of all submissions. The Submissions Editor has each submission internally reviewed by at least two student editors and, with the assistance of the Faculty Advisor, finds appropriate external referees and assists with deciding whether to accept the paper. The Submissions Editor is also responsible for teaching editorial board members board how to conduct internal reviews.
6. PLANNING & SOLICITATION EDITOR.
The Planning & Solicitation Editor is responsible for planning future issues of the Journal. This includes sending out calls for papers, soliciting articles, and maintaining communication with potential contributors. The Planning & Solicitation Editor also teaches editorial board members how to prepare their planning proposals.
7. MANAGING EDITOR (VOLUNTEERS)
The Managing Editor (Volunteers) is responsible for overseeing the volunteer program, which includes reviewing applications by students who wish to volunteer with the journal, assigning volunteers to editorial teams, and acting as a liaison between volunteers and the editorial board.
8. MANAGING EDITOR (BUSINESS)
The Managing Editor (Business) is responsible for communicating with the advertising agency, maintaining the Journal's accounts, and managing the distribution of each issue.
9. STYLE GUIDE EDITOR
The Style Guide Editor is responsible for planning, editing, and producing the Canadian Guide to Legal Style. This includes communicating with all interested stakeholders, such as the publisher, faculty, members, and external commenters, on Style Guide matters. The Style Guide Editor is also responsible for researching and drafting new content for future editions of the Canadian Guide to Legal Style.
All Senior Editors are required to provide reports relevant to their respective duties at each senior board meeting. All returning Senior Editors must also participate in the training of Associate Editors and volunteers. Further, Senior Editors are required to perform the duties of their respective positions in addition to all of the editorial responsibilities of an Associate Editor outlined below. All Senior Editors must devote at least half of their time to "hands-on" editing and production work.
10. ASSOCIATE EDITORS
The Journal has approximately eight to ten Associate Editors. Associate Editors are responsible for the following:
a. Editing and Production: Each Editor is required to participate, as a member of an editorial team, in the substantive and mechanical editing of one manuscript each term. Editors are also required to input their editorial changes to the electronic copies of the papers.
b. Internal Reviews: Each Editor is required to write internal reviews of manuscripts that have been submitted publically, typically one in each term.
