The world we live in has changed drastically over the past year. The small joys of life which we took for granted are nowhere near us in today’s lives. We live in fear in doubt, and isolation. Our lexicon has changed; our plans and perspectives have gone for a toss. We look at uncertainty staring right back at us. But we live and try to move. We try to rebuild from what is leftover. We try to reset and reprogram ourselves as we brace for days that are steeped in precariousness.
The world as we see now seems to be in a Reset mode. The pandemic has taught us life lessons that we had never anticipated. Everything has changed; schools have come inside the homes, playgrounds are empty, and supermarkets have gone digital. We are trying our best to fit in the new world order and make it normal.
The year 2020, the year of COVID, was also called "The Great Reset."
It reset the whole of humanity and its values.
This year as we live amidst the pandemic and try to normalize lives, build from the potentials of last year, the year 2021 may be termed as the year of “Normalising the Great Reset.”
As we progress in 2021, building from the potentials of last year to create a new world, let's make sense of this year and beyond as futurists.
