Seem the Ark-I; Space Ark project - now has some growing competition!
China's media has recently disclosed the design & development of a Space Aircraft Carrier.
This happens to be a topic of my personal research as part of the Space Settlement Board - related to Orbital Shipyards; where such ships would/could be constructed!
This comes on the heels of a previous announcement in March 2025 about the USA developing an Aircraft Carrier type spaceship which can deploy satellites
In 2021, I was invited to Lifeboat after writing Space Age Arcology, which discusses self-sustainable self-governing habitats as the cornerstone of future space colonies & space arks.
I wrote several books related to advancing this theory from city-states on Earth to self-sustainable Arks in space, in an attempt to advance discussions around larger space vessels and the Ark-I.
If anyone is interested, reviews of my written works would be highly appreciated and given the timing of China's announcement, my arguements in them, may be a means for the Western world to also rapidly advance discussions around orbital infrastructure & space governance models.
