I would like to introduce myself to the group

Hi fellow board members.

 

I am a  PhD physicist, educator, successful entrepreneur, and author. My current mission: to warn the next generation about the threats posed by unchecked science and technology. The 18^th and 19^th centuries’ ingenious fossil fuel technology produced today’s global warming crisis. The 20^th century’s brilliant nuclear technology created atomic weapons. The 21^st century’s dangers are from uncontrolled artificial intelligence (AI}, misused genetic engineering, social media’s disinformation, and plastic pollution. These threats inspired astrophysicist Stephen Hawking to predict that humans would be extinct on planet earth within 100 Years (2117). I am sounding an alarm about the potential tyranny of technology through my novels, 100 Years to Extinction and the sequel, 12 Years to AI Singularity (due in January), and on my website - https://100yearstoextinction.com and social media.

 

We need to create an international movement to address the threats. We need to come together as THE EARTHLING TRIBE to MAKE EARTH GREAT AGAIN.
